Hello, fellow pet friends!

A couple years ago, life slowed down drastically for me as I was healing from a broken arm. Watching videos of all kinds of animals, especially rescues, gave me hours of enjoyment and I also reminisced about my experiences in the past with animals and pets. I grew up in the Midwest and found it exhilarating to wander in fields and woods, breathing in the sights and sounds of the outdoors. Pollywog ponds, wild baby rabbits, and over-the-backyard-fence horses piqued my young curiosity. My family had a guinea pig and our dog Taffy accompanied me across snow-covered sidewalks in Michigan.

During my adult years, I took black stray cat Pantara into my home shortly joined by grey tabby Punkin. They spent hours watching aquariums of my exotic fish collection. Two pittie dogs, Scoey and Puppy, rounded out the household. Sometime later, a favorite pastime of mine was providing a bird bath and birdhouse with regular feedings of seeds and suet for fine feathered friends.

Looking back, the days spent with these pets and other creatures went by much too quickly. During my broken arm episode, a couple friends bestowed upon me a kitten rescued from almost going down a storm drain. I've grown quite attached to my precious Baby Jane (pictured) and want to take the best possible care of her.

As pet parents and people who care about animals in general, taking good care of our furry and maybe not-so-furry friends is a more-than-fair reward for the wonderful companionship and unconditional love they give us. Hello, fellow pet friends!

I'm so grateful for the chance of discovering the pawTree company and opportunity.About a year ago, I had seen an ad for the opportunity and  I remember thinking how interesting pawTree appeared. In retrospect, I wish I had joined sooner, but was recovering from a broken arm.

while recovering, I watched videos of all kinds of animals, animal rescues and stories, which gave me hours of enjoyment. I also had time to reminisce about my experiences in the past with animals and pets. I grew up in the Midwest and found it exhilarating to wander in fields and woods, breathing in the sights and sounds of the outdoors. Our family adopted all kinds of animals including a guinea pigs that we named "Squeaky" because it would squeal when it heard the refrigerator open.  I was always rescuing some animal including a couple very young baby rabbits. On our side of the street, one could view a barn ad several horses grazing in the pasture on the other side of our backyard fences. We also had a dog named Taffy that, as I entered my teen years, accompanied me on walks to include "treks" across snow-covered sidewalks in Michigan. I insisted that Taffy come with the family when we moved to California.

As I got older I raised all kinds of animals from stray cats to exotic fish and several dogs and became quite a bird watcher as well, filling the feeders each day.

Looking back, I have such fond memories of the days spent with these pets and other creatures.

Fast forward a number of years and not having pets for a while, a couple friends bestowed upon me a kitten rescued from a storm drain. I was on temporary disability and it was the perfect opportunity for me and Baby Jane (pictured) to develop a reciprocal relationship. I've grown quite attached to my precious furbaby and want to take the best possible care of her.
